Hosting vs Co-Hosting

Hosts and co-hosts are key roles on vTestify platforms, acting as the default deposition room controllers and moderators. Unlike other platforms neither a host, nor a co-host is required for other attendees to join the proceeding room. There are some similarities and differences between the two roles:

Hosts

  • Must be a member of the agency’s organization
  • Can take the deposition on and off the record
  • Can unlock the sidebar rooms
  • Only Hosts and Organization members may edit deposition attendees
  • There may be only one host
    •

Co-Hosts

  • Anyone with an account can be made a cohost
  • Can take the deposition on and off the record
  • Can unlock the sidebar rooms
  • There may be multiple cohosts
