International Women's Day Celebration

March 8th is the celebration of International Women’s Day. This is a day to honor women in the workplace for their contributions and for all of the glass ceilings that have been broken through the years. According to statistics published by the NCRA roughly 88% of today’s court reporters are female. Women also hold many vital roles in the legal community including as paralegals, legal assistants, and attorneys. Court reporting was marketed to women specifically in the early 1900’s as a way for them to use their “nimble fingers” to quickly type the testimony being given. Since that time, women have dominated the court reporting industry and many independent court reporting firms are women owned companies.

The women of vTestify have also played a vital role in the growth of our company. This month, we will be highlighting some of our female colleagues and their contributions to our success. Although this is just one day of the year, we are thankful for all of the women we work with on daily basis and recognize the hard work that they do each and every day.
